Bio
Born and raised in Colombia, South America, Alex came to Chicago 18 years ago. As she describes it, fate had it to make the Midwest her new home. When in Colombia, Alex worked as a Marketing Manager for a flower farm, exporting flowers all over the world. Through the floral industry, she met her husband, Sean, the founder and owner of Finn’s Ranch. Life took their family from the south side of Chicago to Buchanan, Michigan in 2012 and what started as a hobby with 20 chickens and four cows, became a fully-functioning farm with a goal of providing healthy sustainable protein for our friends and family. As the farm continued to grow, Alex continued her day job in the flower industry, but three years ago, she quit her job to work full time for the farm. Today, Finn's Ranch participates in 12 farmers' markets throughout Chicago.
